A coworker of mine was talking to me about swapping vacation time.

He had some private business or something that he needed the time for, but that is in jeopardy now.
So the time he took off for it is unnecessary and he doesn't want to waste his vacation days.

So maybe I can get his time, which would reduce my three weeks in December a bit, but I could get a better vacation than the crappy one last month where quarantine and all ruined it.

Another coworker is going to leave for a year because he became a father recently, so... all of those plans mentioned above are out the window.

Shit.

Today I am finally allowed to leave the house.

For which I am grateful, it's one thing to spend time at home because you want to, another because you are forced to do this.

Finished playing Skyward Sword while I was at home and also missed my chance for a haircut.

That last one will be done today and then it's back to work tomorrow.

Ok, on Saturday, after I put up my new Ikea furniture, my friend, whom I visited last tuesday, called and told me they got tested positive for Covid-19.

I didn't leave the house.
Officially I am not quarantined yet, but on my birthday (yesterday), I got a call from the health department about it.

It was the one from one city over and therefore not responsible for me (but for my friend), so they couldn't put me in quarantine and instead gave my data to the department in my city who is responsible.

Now I am sitting here, waiting for a call from them to know how things are going to proceed.

The wait is killing me, I couldn't visit mom (who instead came and got me my gifts and food, thank you mom) and felt like shit.
Even now, the next day, my mood is at the bottom.
If only I didn't visit and if only I got the vaccine earlier....

This sucks.

They finally called and I have to stay at home, quarantined, until next tuesday.
So the earliest I can leave is August 4th.
